Once the 2nd Edition basic box set is released we can look at the table top version again.

We actually completely rewrote the planet storm rules and sent them in to Clark back when the game was 1st out. We were under the impression that planets term was nearly completely broken and we stops playing it in favor of the interior game.

General Discussion / Re: CONVENTIONS - A call out for players to run games

I will be running games again at Cold Wars 2020, mid-March.

I will do the same set-up I had for Stalingrad (pictures forthcoming).

I'm gong to change things up for LoS though.  I will run BOTH starter scenarios in the first time slot (they moved quick enough last convention that I ended up doing something similar), but I want to do a combined LoA v Machines for the second.  I will look through some old/current scenarios to use or base it on (IIRC there was a similar scenario in the Inferno magazine?).  Was planning on 1 small unit per race, and a large Machine force to counter it.  This is to show off more of the minis.

Do you have all of the base game tiles redone graphically so I can make a single poster map?

General Discussion / Re: How does it fit through the door?

The mundane answer is that the ground scale is roughly 1/72nd while the figure scale is closer to 1/48th. The doors match the ground scale rather than the miniature scale so the latter look time-and-a-half larger comparatively.

clark, please email me when you get a chance. thanks Marco

Rules Discussion / Re: Snap Firing over low obstacles

of course, people who were GOOD at paintball would always advise to NEVER go over the top of a barricade, because you expose yourself to (in game terms) suppression and cover fire from all angles.

I concur, I play a lot of Airsoft, and I would only dream of going over a barricade unless I had no choice AND I had a ton of suppressive fire down range;-)
