General Discussion / Re: PDF Counters

Good morning LoS enthusiasts! I've added another PDF that includes the dreaded Mark 1 & Mark 1A1 Assault Fiends!
The Mark 1 artwork is different than the Mark 1 included in the LoS Counters PDF & it's sized differently too. So, we've now got 8 sheets of counters spread amongst 5 PDFs in Senarios file of the Media section.

Hey, I've added some PDFs of LoS counters to the Scenarios folder in Media. I hope they're useful? I'm playing with counters for the time being. I did receive a few LoS items in the mail today from Nobel Knight Games; 1 of the items was my first blister pack of miniatures: 1530 Pathfinder PBA, so, cool!

Wow, that's terrific news, EarthdogMP! It's super exciting that at-some-point-soon we'll have the chance to buy LoS miniatures! And, I'm glad it's potentially going to be RAFM who produces the miniatures. I'm a fan of RAFM and have a selection of both their historical and fantasy miniatures. So, cool!

We will be meeting with RAFM soon to discuss how to proceed on the miniatures.

Hi, Nightmare! Thanks for the information. I also missed-out on LoS the first time around, although, I wanted to play it but my friends were into Battletech, Warhammer Fantasy Battle, Magic, D&D etc! I haven't played my first game of LoS, yet, but I've read the rules & they're ace! I'm still a little hazy on Suppression(?!) but I'll, of course,
re-read it before I play.

Thanks, Karpov! I've read the rules and made a tonne of counters & both activities were a lot of fun. I haven't played your scenario, yet; I've read it; I love it & I'm looking forward to playing it! I went a-little-bit-OCD-collector & decided to order an open copy of LoS 2e from Nobel Knight Games to play my first game; it's complete and appears to be in great shape! It should arrive next week by Thursday? Maybe, Wednesday? So, my new plan is to, hopefully, play on either of those two days... I think your ideas in regards to size and format of a LoS starter box are excellent.

It means "outsider", someone who stands outside of civil society.  I made it up, which is what I do as a writer. It is not Russian, it is just me doing what I do.  A neologism.

Arkon turned as it attacked, and his flaming sword cut it in two. “Where are you?” he asked.

They closed on him. To buy some time he wrapped wings, crossed fingers and invoked the aegis.  Not much time, but enough to look.  There were too many.  “Where are you?” he asked again.

With time running out his arms went to the cross and his eyes glowed.  In an instant he was gone.

. . .

A tap of the sword on the firmament and it becomes a staff.  “Where are you?” asked the old man.  Then he marched towards the rizen to warn of what will come. The Old Gods are dead. Legions of doom are coming. New gods must be found. They can be. They have been. They will be again.

But they must be warned!

I'd love to see a release of the original books, templates et cetera as well. Perhaps, it could be PDF and print-on-demand? Like RPGnow?

I'm fairly certain Marco has plans for all releases, we are just waiting on how;-)

That said, unless I made it up in my head, I thought Marco stated he would NOT sell anything via PDF.

This is easily one of my top two games of all time.  I dabbled in it when it first came out, but at the time I was knee deep in Battletech with my circle.  When I finally was able to dedicate more energy to LoS it was on the tail end of shelf life.  If/when LoS is re-released, I plan on making it a priority...not missing out on this opportunity again!
