Title: Anyone Fluent in Spanish?

Or do you know anyone fluent in Spanish, preferably a wargamer.

Weird? Yes.  It will make sense in time.

The question is the English translation of the following terms:

combates
conflictos
asaltos
ataques
tiroteos

I am not in any way shape or form fluent, but I think those are
combats
conflicts
assaults
attacks
I got no clue?  maybe turrets?

Because English is such a bastard, sometimes romance languages seem obvious.

Tiroteos can translate a firefight or shootings. However, you pegged the rest. The thing is, those are the denotations and not the connotations. That's why I am looking for someone fluent.

For instance: a Legions of Steel game involves "firefights" NOT "shootings" if you talk about it in English. So what is the difference in Spanish?  Similarly, an "assault" can be a coordinated military operation to sieze a tactical objective, or it could be a sucker punch in a bar.  As English speakers, we know which is which and when, but how does that word work in Spanish?
