Okay, I haven't pledged yet but I've been watching the page avidly - and I wanted to share a few ideas/observations.
First of all, it looks pretty solid, clean & organized overall - and I really like the newer demo video you posted with actual gameplay screens showing how movement works. I already want to play with it after seeing that. I hope you will continue to add updated videos as you add to the game. I think people will want to see how some of the command & fire actions play out. I know I do!
I noticed it says 'not connected to facebook'. I'm wondering if that should be addressed, just to reach more people? Linked KS updates to both your NYX Facebook page & also the existing
LoS FB page will get pledgers attracted to the FB pages, and vice-versa.
For the exclusive KS Tournament, I think that should get more attention in the main body, like perhaps its own heading for extra emphasis as a reward. I'm not really sure about the details of it based on what is written - I don't understand how it will work, and if most people think that when they see it, they probably won't go for that pledge level. Just a thought.
From going over the existing pledges, they seem well thought out as far as cumulative rewards go, but perhaps more customization [ie the 'add-ons' function] would add to the appeal for people who may only specifically want certain things without pledging for everything?
Speaking of add-on content, is it possible to hint somewhere on there about future expansions, talk about what else you will do with the game? If people unfamiliar with LoS stumble across it, they may like it based on what you've done so far, but they won't know there are so many other cool units from the original game. If you plan on including any other
unit types in the future, I think it would be smart to advertise that now to entice people to invest. I imagine its not possible to work in new units as stretch goals for this current campaign?
I do think the rewards are pretty cool so far - whatever I end up pledging, I'm going to make sure I get the game, the limited edition rulebook [in print], the artbook, the soundtrack [the music sounds great so far] & the Sergeant Browning figure too
